This book was actually a great read, and one of the easier human service books to read as well. The most interesting thing about this book I found was the clarity of what the author's wrote about the Introduction to the Human Service area.

This book I found guinuine, and it gave me more tools for success in obtaining my Bachelors in Human Service.

some of the case studies were not helpful, though the book altogether is interesting for those who want to be in the Human Service field

I loved the history of the Human service fields. This book reminds you to be considerate of people's heritage in helping them. and ways to handle clients who are afraid to ask for help.

This book was well written and very easy to read. It provided what I needed to know and in an easy to find manner ao I wasn't searching for something I would never find for hours

The class was small and easy to follow. It helped me understand d the welfare system better and figure out how I would like to help the system by becoming a social work.

The information relayed in this book helps relay the duties of a human services worker and just how they may get involved in a clients lives to help get them on their own two feet to survive in the world.

That each client may need a different strategy to get where they can be self-sufficient on their own. Human services is very demanding for the social worker with all the different types of strategies being used to help a client. Though this book was very introductory, it made the reasoning why social workers may do their jobs in a certain way-not because they want to-but because they have to in order to get to a certain goal in being achieved.

Explained the whole aspect of human services history, jobs, and future outlooks and the book was very effective covering subject.

Most interesting thing in the book to me is that certain types of food can affect your behavior. This was interesting to me because I am interested in human behavior.

This was a great book, there is not much to change other than maybe more examples of cases.

The section on suicide of drugs or alcohol since I am aware of that type of situation having lost 2 people to overdoses.

Human Services is the primary subject of this book. It is very effective in covering the subject of Human Services from many different aspects. I learned a lot about career choices through this book.

This book is similar to other books that I have read on the same subject matter, but I did learn a lot through it. I would recommend using it if I were a teacher.
