This book reviewed the basic information of health care within the community. It made me aware that the community doesn't do enough to help control health care issues at hand. Obamacare is focusing attention on the communities in aiding the public to improve health of the population. It is approaching it in a more personal level. For example: Schools within communities can encourage healthier eating habits since America has a high rate of childhood obesity because children spend a lot of time at school and they are able to encourage parents as well.

Psychology class on individualism on thinking by using all resources. It was a small group of individuals from different backgrounds that joined together to discuss methods of thinking and the mistakes you make by settling for a quick result.

This book provides great foundation knowledge of the many aspects of the community which come together to keep people healthy. It provides much information about the many agencies that are currently helping people as well as the criteria to write a proposal to implement your own ideas to aid the community.

This book would be better if it had review questions.

This book would be better if it had more review questions and study tips. I would like more vocabulary and definitions of the words. But over all it was easy reading and had lots of information.

I would change that the order of the information it the book.

I would change the order of the chapters, it felt as if the book jumps around too much from one subject to the other.

It covers health issues and the difference paths of community health.

I learned many things about diseases and how they don't just affect you but everyone around you. If you have bad health, it can spread to and through your community, so its important to maintain your health.

It was a lecture class for microbiology. We basically followed the book in what we learned as well as writing s 5-page paper on a disease at the end of the semester.

Many examples were provided that helped my understanding of various constructs and concepts of the course.

The most useful thing I learned from this book is how to properly integrate health policy into the community, regardless of size or structure.
