We received 90 comments on our blog and dozens more on Facebook answering the posed question; What is the best way to make money in college? Thank you to all who shared their opinion! While the answers varied, there was a common theme. College students prefer a job that helps them pay bills and is related to their desired career path, all while leaving enough time to study and experience college!

Weber said, “Being an RA at college is definitely the best job you can have. It always pays pretty well no matter what school you are at, and plus it looks REALLY REALLY good on your resume. Nothin wrong with building your career before you even leave college. Not to mention, I have also met over 800 new people on campus that I would have never met if I hadn’t done this job these past two years.”

When Scott was asked how he felt after winning the ValoreBooks.com April iPod giveaway, he responded, “Thanks again to ValoreBooks.  I’m glad I could come to you guys when I needed to find a college textbook at a reasonable price, instead of buying them at full price from the campus bookstore.”
