Fear Me

Stephen Laws lives and works in Newcastle upon Tyne, in northeast England. Married, with three children, he has written ten supernatural thrillers to date, including: Gideon, winner of the Count Dracula Society's Children of the Night Award, and the epic award-nominated Chasm. Stephen Laws's novels have been published in America, Canada, Germany, France, Spain, Japan, Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Italy. His short stories have appeared on radio, in magazines and numerous anthologies, winning a number of awards-including the prestigious British Fantasy Society Award. His collected short stories were published as The Midnight Man. Laws also lectures on horror to various institutions, has developed and delivered a series of creative writing courses in schools throughout Newcastle upon Tyne in collaboration with the city's Education Department as a peripatetic writer-in-residence, and is regular host and guest interviewer at the Manchester Festival of Fantastic Films. He has recently created a supernatural/comedy/thriller television series for Yorkshire Television upon which he is now engaged.
