M. Shawn Copeland is Associate Professor of Theology at Boston College, a former President of the Catholic Theological Society of America, and a former Convenor of the Black Catholic Theological Symposium. Copeland has taught theology at Marquette University and Yale University Divinity School. She has also served as adjunct Associate Professor of Systematic Theology at the Institute for Black Catholic Studies, Xavier University of Louisiana, New Orleans. She has lectured extensively in the United States as well as in Australia, Belgium, Canada, and Nigeria.M.
